Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Algiers

• Arrival at Algiers airport and warm welcome by our team.
• Transfer to the hotel, check-in.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Discovering Algiers

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided tour of the Casbah of Algiers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Traditional lunch with a local host.
• Visit to the iconic Notre-Dame d’Afrique, a stunning basilica, with panoramic views of  Algiers Bay.
• Dinner, then transfer to the airport for the flight to Djanet.
• Arrival in Djanet, welcome by our Tuareg team.
• 4x4 transfer into the desert, to the bivouac site, camp set-up and overnight under the stars.

Day 3: Departure to the Tadrart – In Djaren Canyon

• Breakfast at the camp.
• Depart by 4x4 across dramatic desert landscapes towards the spectacular In Djaren Canyon.
• Bivouac set-up in the canyon  
• Dinner, and overnight under Saharan skies.

Day 4: Exploring the Tadrart

• Breakfast in the desert
• Discovery of In Djaren Canyon, ancient rock art at Tamezguida, and the natural arches of Moul Naga.
• Picnic lunch in the heart of nature.
• Bivouac set-up, dinner, and overnight stay in the desert.

Day 5: Dunes of Tin Merzouga

• Breakfast.
• Departure for the magical Erg of Tin Merzouga, known for its majestic red sand dunes.
• Lunch on site.
• Bivouac, dinner, and overnight stay in the heart of the desert.

Day 6: Tin Merzouga – Tissetka

• Breakfast.
• Desert crossing towards Tissetka.
• Lunch and bivouac set-up.
• Evening with Tuareg music and hospitality, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Return to Djanet – "Crying Cow" Engravings

• Breakfast.
• Visit to Tegharghart, site of the famous “Crying Cow” rock engravings.
• Lunch in Djanet and city tour.
• Transfer to the airport for the flight back to Algiers.

Day 8: Free Day in Algiers

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free day to explore Algiers at your own pace: seaside stroll, shopping, optional visits.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Excursion to Tipaza

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Excursion to Tipaza, an archaeological site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Visit to Roman ruins, the museum, and the Tomb of the Christian Woman (Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania).
• Enjoy Lunch by the mediterranean.
• Return to Algiers in the late afternoon.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free time depending on your flight schedule.
• Transfer to the airport for your return flight at the end of your unforgettable Algerian adventure.
