Detailed Program:

Day 1: Arrival in Algiers
• Arrival at Algiers airport and welcome by our team.
• Transfer to the hotel, check-in.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Discovery of Algiers
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided tour of the Casbah of Algiers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Traditional lunch at a local's home.
• Visit to Notre-Dame d’Afrique, a beautiful basilica overlooking Algiers Bay.
• Dinner, then transfer to the airport for the flight to Djanet.
• Arrival in Djanet, welcome by our Tuareg team.
• Departure by 4x4 to the bivouac site, installation and overnight in tents.
• Arrival at Tamanrasset airport.
• Welcome by our team and transfer to Hotel Tahat.
• Check-in to the rooms and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Exploration of Assekrem
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Departure by 4x4 to Assekrem, famous for the hermitage of Father de Foucauld.
• Lunch break near the water point of Afilal.
• Arrival at Assekrem refuge around 5:00 PM.
• Hike to the hermitage to witness the sunset.
• Meeting with the resident Father to learn about the site’s history.
• Return to camp, dinner around the fire, and overnight in bivouac.
Day 4: Immersion in the Hoggar Mountains
• Early morning wake-up (optional) to watch the sunrise from the heights.
• Breakfast at the camp.
• Departure for a hike through the rocky landscapes of the Hoggar towards Mount Tahat.
• Picnic lunch en route.
• Arrival in the late afternoon at the foot of Mount Tahat.
• Camp setup, dinner, and overnight in bivouac.
Day 5: Ascent of Mount Tahat (3003 m)
• Early morning departure for the ascent of Mount Tahat (4 to 5 hours of hiking).
• Accompanied by an experienced guide.
• Pause at the summit to admire the panoramic view over the Ahaggar massif.
• Lunch on-site.
• Return to camp in the late afternoon.
• Dinner and overnight in bivouac.
Day 6: Return to Tamanrasset and City Tour
• Breakfast at the camp.
• Departure by 4x4 to Tamanrasset.
• Check-in at the hotel, lunch, and rest time.

• City tour: African market, handicraft house.
• Dinner at the hotel.
• Evening transfer to the airport for the return flight.
Day 7: Free Day in Algiers
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free day to discover Algiers at your own pace: seaside walk, shopping, optional visits.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Excursion to Tipaza
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Departure for an excursion to Tipaza, a UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site.
• Visit of the Roman ruins, the museum, and the Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania.
• Lunch by the sea.
• Return to Algiers in the late afternoon.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Departure
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free time depending on your flight schedule.
• Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
